Milnor Power Supply Boards and Displays

A call we sometimes get with Milnor washers: customer indicates that when they start a wash formula, the washer goes into a countdown without starting the wash cycle. When a machine goes into a countdown like this, it can mean one of two things: either the power supply board is out of adjustment or the power supply itself is bad. Contact us with your model and serial number for the proper voltage for your power supply board.

If your display isn’t working properly, that could mean your control fuse is bad, the power supply is bad, or the display board is bad. First try the easy fix with the fuses—if the fuses are good, then the power supply or the display board is bad—which means it’s time to call for service.

Parts Ideas From Barb

Parts in Pairs

Some parts should be ordered with secondary parts and components to ensure a timely repair.

Every situation is different but making sure you order any supporting components you may need to change out the main part is key. For instance, when you change a door gasket without applying the proper glue, the door gasket will fall off. When you replace a computer board, you may also need new software.

Here is a partial list of parts that are generally paired together:

• Ignition module + high-voltage lead 
• Trunnion + bearings 
• OPL Control + display board 
• Door glass gasket + nylon washers
• Cold water valve + hot water valve
• Water hose + hose clamp
• Door bumper + glue

Double checking with me to make sure you have ordered all the components you need for your job saves you time and added expense.
