The Grand Hotel—Minot, ND

The Grand Hotel is owned/operated in Minot and has been enriching the Minot community since 1963. The property boasts 225 spacious sleeping rooms and 17,000 square feet of meeting space, making it the Magic City's overall largest hotel. Tyler Meschke, Director of Engineering, and his staff take care of this well-run facility. Tyler is Laundry Director as well. IN March 2019, Grand Hotel changed out two older dryers for two Huebsch HT120 #120 dryers with micro-controls, OPT true moisture-sensing and reversing. The dryers work very well and save time, labor, and utilities as the dryers themselves pace the dry time—they terminate drying, go to cool down, then signal the operator when the load is dry.

Milnor EP Plus and EP Express Test Mode 

Milnor washers with EP Plus and EP Express controllers have a built-in test mode. Test Mode is used to check inputs for various parts and machine operations including water levels. Close the washer door. On the EP Plus and EP Express press the square with arrows going around it, then press the up arrow to #3 test outputs then press the square and the #1 button at the same time. This puts you in test mode. Press the up arrow until you find what you want to test. Press the 1 twice and that will activate what you are testing. To turn off you press the 1 again. In test mode, you can test hot and cold-water valves, flush valve, high and low water levels, high speed extract, reversing bath and drain valve. Maintenance staff can check a variety of problems with a washer. When you finish your tests press the red hand to leave test mode. Then wait for the screen to advise ready to run formula.
