We have Moved!

The Minnesota Chemical Co. has moved into our new facility at 3750 Dunlap Street North, Arden Hills, MN 55112. Same website, same phones and emails.

We will be better able to serve you in our new home, just a few miles north of our former location.

Washer movement during extract

I get called a lot about machines shaking during extract. What I find most of the time is machines are under loaded or overloaded. First, let’s talk about the proper way to load a washer. When a washer is loaded correctly once the load is totally saturated and the basket stops when changing direction there should be an opening of 11:00 o’clock to 1:00 o’clock at the top of the load. Next you should check to see if all the anchor bolts are tight. If they are all tight see if the grout is broken or has come out. If you find bad anchors or bad grout you need to call me and set up to reinstall that washer before it gets damaged or somebody gets hurt. On soft mount washers you could have some bad shocks that need to be replaced.

Addison Jones, Field Service Technician, recently visited Minnesota Chemical Co. Addison was a great help at Milnor CBW start ups in Iowa at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA and North Iowa Textile Services in Mason City, IA. He worked on both projects with James Baker and our service techs.
