MCC Service Tips

Preventative Maintenance and Service Contracts

We work on all brands

Is your commercial laundry equipment a bit undermaintained? Does it need a tune-up it hasn’t gotten for a while? Is your own maintenance staff stretched a little thin? Then let MCC’s factory-trained, authorized technicians take care of your washer and dryer service.

Dryers:

• We can check the wear on your trunnion and bearing.
• We can check your burner tubes and clean them if necessary.
• We will check belts for wear and alignment.
• We can pull dryer fronts to remove lint if a thorough cleaning is needed.

Washers:

• We will check the water valves, drain valves, belts, and motors.
• We will change the oil or grease in the washer and check all operations of the machine.
• We regularly check anchor bolts for tightness and look for any leaks.
• If your washers have been idle, we will run them in a cycle to assure valves are working properly and keep seals in good shape.

Finishing Equipment:

• We also check out your ironer, feeders, and folders to see what adjustments need to be done or parts that need to be replaced.

If you discover any issues that you are not sure about, or items on which you need repair that you are not comfortable doing yourself, please call to discuss with our knowledgeable Service Department at 651-288-4857, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

If your laundry equipment is nearing its replacement phase, we have a full equipment sales staff at The Minnesota Chemical Co. who can provide a budget quote on replacement equipment. New equipment can often save labor, utilities, and make your linen last longer.

Should I Replace or Rebuild My Board?

Save money and extend the life of your equipment

Sometimes buying a new computer board is just not an option. The price of a new board can be quite costly, and the age of the machine might not justify spending so much on one part. Most computer boards and controls can be refurbished.

Minnesota Chemical can help you rebuild your computer board. All rebuilt boards carry the same one-year warranty as buying a new replacement board.

To have your board rebuilt, please contact me to discuss. I will ask you the model number and serial number of the machine. You will ship us the board, and the repaired board will be shipped back to you when completed.

The average time for having it analyzed and repaired is around one to two weeks. In some instances, we can get them repaired sooner.
