Milnor Water Valve and Drain Valve Replacement

When your washer produces a "too long to fill" error code, there can be several causes. The machine may not be getting water; solution: check to see if someone turned off the water supply. If the machine's water supply is good, you either have a bad water valve, or the drain valve may not be closing. While the machine is filling, check to see if water is also flowing out of the drain. If this is the case, the drain valve should be checked for foreign objects that may be propping it partially open. If there are no objects obstructing the valve, a bad drain valve is likely the issue, and it may need to be replaced. If the drain valve seems to be functioning properly, investigate the hot- and cold-water valves; at least one will be bad. Find which valve is malfunctioning and replace it.

If your machine is overfilling, check the pressure tubing line for clogs and clean out the area down by the drain sump in front of the drain valve. If none of these are the issue, you will need to replace the pressure switch.
