Preventative Maintenance (PM)

Dryer preventative maintenance

It is very important to maintain your dryers on a weekly, monthly, and, quarterly basis. Keep your dryers as lint free as possible, that means cleaning the burner section and the lint compartment. The lint screen should be cleaned every 4 hours. When cleaning, check the lint screen for holes. If there are holes it should be replaced. The burner section at the top and belt section at the rear should be cleaned with a vacuum a least monthly. Have a regular PM schedule to reduce chance of dryer fires.

Washer preventative maintenance

Washer maintenance should be done on a quarterly, semi-annual, and yearly basis. This is determined by how often you run your machines. Check the belts for wear, change the oil if the machine calls for it, check the water valves for leaks and make sure the drain valve is holding water and not leaking during the cycle – observe by looking into the drain trough.
